Jobbsprånget means Job-Leap. We are Sweden's biggest internship program for foreign-born job seekers with over 500 participating employers. As a result of our internship, a majority land a job at their professional level. So far, over 5000 foreign-born job seekers have participated in the program.
In response to the situation at Northvolt, we are now offering shorter, fast-track internships for those affected – as a stepping stone back into employment. We have employers all over Sweden with a massive interest in offering opportunities. Don't miss this chance!

We know for a fact that internship lowers the barrier to employment, our results show that a majority land a job after the internship. Our fast-track program for laid off Northvolt employees offers shorter internships to speed up the path to new employment in Sweden. It will connect you to new opportunities and networks that significantly increases your chances.
A fast-track into the Swedish job market
Who can apply for an internship?
If you are a previous employee at Northvolt and born outside of Sweden you may apply.
Application Requirements:
- Laid off from Northvolt
- Born outside of Sweden
- Proficiency in English
- Registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen)
How do you apply?
- Register an account on Jobbsprånget's platform, or email us if you already have an account
- Complete all mandatory questions, including whether you are willing to relocate within Sweden for an internship and what your primary skills are — this helps ensure better matching with potential employers
- Upload a generic CV that we can share with employers. Don’t forget to give your consent for us to share your CV — this can be done under "My Account" once you're logged in
- Upload your residence permit letter from Migrationsverket under the Files section
- Jobbsprånget will match you with ads that align with your profile and skills. You will be able to view the opportunities you are connected to under "My Applications."
- Employers will contact selected candidates directly, so make sure to monitor your phone and email regularly
- Once you and the employer have agreed on the start date and length of the internship, Jobbsprånget will begin the administrative process with Arbetsförmedlingen
- Arbetsförmedlingen will process the application and make the final decision regarding the internship. If approved, you can begin your internship!
What happens next?

As soon as we receive your application you will be matched with employers interested in your skills. If a company is interested, they will contact you directly.
